The story
Hance and Baird met as junior tennis players at the National Championships in Kalamazoo, became D1 teammates at UCLA, then roommates, then business partners. They are among the most-followed content creators in pickleball, and they built the company entirely on that audience: bootstrapped, no outside funding, no paid ads.
Their first hit was the Dink Master training board; paddles came after they decided they wanted genuine product innovation rather than iterations of competitors' builds.
